The central economic work conference was held from December 8 to 10, 2021. The conference summarized China's economic work in 2021, analyzed the current economic situation and deployed the economic work in 2022. 2021 is the opening year of the 14th five year plan. It is also the year to achieve the first Centennial goal and the second Centennial goal. The meeting affirmed the achievements of achieving a good start of the 14th five year plan in 2021. At the same time, it also pointed out that the current economy is facing the triple pressure of demand contraction, supply impact and weakening expectation. It is required that the economic work in 2022 should be stable and strive for progress while maintaining stability. The conference made policy arrangements in seven aspects: macro, micro, structure, science and technology, reform and opening up, region and society, responded to social concerns, and stressed the need to correctly understand and grasp the major theories and practices in five aspects: common prosperity, capital characteristics, primary product supply, prevention and resolution of major risks, carbon peak and carbon neutralization. In 2022, China's economy will continue to recover, and policies will strive to keep the economy running within a reasonable range. In this meeting, six aspects deserve special attention, such as the judgment of the economic situation in 2022, the organic combination of cross cycle and counter cycle policies, the adjustment of real estate policies, breaking through the blocking points of supply constraints, correcting the deviation of green carbon reduction policies, and strengthening the priority orientation of employment.
