[Everbright strategy] global investment week data focus

Major global equity markets rose this week, led by Brent crude oil and Dow Jones index. Brent crude oil rose 7.7%, Dow Jones index rose 4.0% and gem index fell - 0.3%. All three major US stock indexes rose, while the US dollar index fell.

Wind secondary industry in Hong Kong stocks: among them, retail of food and main supplies (+ 6.62%) and real estate (+ 2.76%) led the increase. Automobiles and auto parts (- 2.04%) and telecommunications services (- 1.18%) led the decline. Secondary industries of S & P 500 in US stocks: among them, retail industry (+ 0.03%) and technology, hardware and equipment (+ 0.03%) led the increase. Energy (- 0.03%) and automobile and parts industry (- 0.03%) led the decline.

The trading volume of Hong Kong stocks this week decreased compared with last week, and the turnover rate of Hang Seng index decreased by 0.061% to 0.2%.

The proportion of short selling amount of Hong Kong stocks decreased to 14.3% from 14.98% last week.

The trading volume of US stocks decreased compared with last week, and the turnover rate of S & P 500 decreased to 2.82%.
