Announcement on approval of natural gas cogeneration project of Yunhe Power Generation Company

Recently, Guangdong Yuedian Yunhe Power Generation Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Yunhe Power Generation Company”), a holding subsidiary of Guangdong Electric Power Development Co.Ltd(000539) (hereinafter referred to as “the company”) received the reply on the approval of the natural gas cogeneration project of Yunhe Power Generation Company (yfgsk [2022] No. 2) from Yunfu development and Reform Bureau. According to the document, the natural gas cogeneration project of Yunhe Power Generation Company (hereinafter referred to as the “project”) was approved. The project will build two sets of 460 MW improved gas steam combined cycle cogeneration units, supporting the construction of heat supply network project. The total investment of the project is 2809.7 million yuan, of which the project capital is 561.94 million yuan, accounting for 20% of the total investment of the project, and the rest is solved by bank loans.
The natural gas cogeneration project of Yunhe Power Generation Company uses large capacity, high efficiency and environmental protection units. After the project is completed and put into operation, the annual power generation is about 4 billion kWh and the annual steam supply is about 7.75 million GJ. The approved construction of the project is conducive to meeting the heat load demand of Yunfu Industrial Park and surrounding enterprises, and providing reliable power guarantee and support for Yunfu City; At the same time, it helps the company build a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system, which is of great significance to the company’s further optimization of power supply structure and future sustainable development.
Yunhe Power Generation Company will fully promote the project construction in accordance with the relevant requirements of the approved documents, and the company will perform continuous information disclosure obligations on the progress of the project.
