2021 is the first year of China’s 14th five year plan. It is also the year in which the company faces the most complex internal and external environment and the most severe challenges. Over the past year, guided by the thought of Xi Jinping socialism with Chinese characteristics in a new era, the company has resolutely implemented the decisions and arrangements of the provincial Party committee and the provincial government and the work requirements of the provincial SASAC, seized the favorable opportunity of the market, strengthened internal cost control, vigorously promoted the reform of marketing mode, continuously optimized the product and customer structure, and achieved a significant increase in operating efficiency, realizing a good start of the 14th five year plan.

1、 Operation in 2021

In 2021, the company will produce 25.31 million tons of iron, 25.68 million tons of steel and 25.21 million tons of steel; 170000 tons of vanadium slag are produced. The annual operating income was 149.6 billion yuan, the total profit was 3.7 billion yuan, and the net profit attributable to the owner of the parent company was 2.7 billion yuan, which achieved good operating benefits.

Over the past year, the company has made new progress in various key work.

(I) strengthen the function, and the integrated operation has achieved remarkable results

The production line efficiency has been continuously improved. The daily output of blast furnaces in production has reached the highest record since they were put into operation. The role of technical support should be brought into play. Promote the R & D and application of more than 100 new processes and technologies around on-line smelting, quality improvement, index improvement, cost control and efficiency improvement. The comprehensive properties of new steel wire materials and JIPA grade ultra-high strength steel have reached the international leading level; High grade wear-resistant steel realizes 6-16mm serialization, full specification and stable production, and the performance index is leading in the industry; Bake hardening steel successfully solved the problem of long aging period and replaced POSCO supply Great Wall Motor Company Limited(601633) .

Technology marketing promotes product value. Tangshan Iron and steel new area has successfully achieved the production target, the daily output of the three blast furnaces has stably reached the design level, and the monthly output of 2050 production line has exceeded 500000 tons, becoming the fastest hot rolling production line in China. The foundation construction of key control projects in Hangang new area has been fully completed, the body of No. 1 blast furnace and hot blast stove has been installed, and the archway of roughing mill of medium sector production line has been hoisted, entering a new stage in which the main construction and equipment installation go hand in hand. Actively introduce private capital and jointly promote the construction of Hangang new area with Hebei Nengjia and Hebei Nenghua.

(VIII) comprehensively revise the internal control system, standardize and continuously improve the level of governance

According to the new regulations issued by the regulatory authorities, the internal control systems such as the articles of association and the rules of procedure of the three sessions, the management system of connected transactions and the management system of information disclosure have been revised in time to promote the improvement of the standard governance level of the company. In 2022, the company’s overall work idea is: Based on the new development stage of comprehensively promoting technological upgrading, focusing on the core task of releasing the efficiency of the main iron and steel industry and improving the profitability as soon as possible, focusing on efficiency and benefit, focusing on cost reduction and price increase, making good use of two means of control and assessment, improving and strengthening the six systems of production service, science and technology drive, benchmarking and tapping potential, so as to ensure the completion of the annual objectives and tasks.

In 2022, the company plans to produce 25.68 million tons of iron, 26.36 million tons of crude steel, 25.1 million tons of steel and 170000 tons of vanadium slag.

3、 Main work arrangement in 2022

Focusing on the realization of the objectives and tasks of the whole year, we should do a good job in the following aspects:

(I) strengthen the production management service system and make every effort to release the efficiency of the production line

Improve production line efficiency. Focus on the annual output target and establish an efficient production order of “taking the blast furnace as the center”. We will tackle key problems in improving the rhythm of converter and continuous casting speed, increase the proportion of scrap added in steelmaking process, and promote “reducing iron and increasing steel”. Vigorously promote the “model production” of steel rolling process, and continuously improve the technical and economic indicators of the production line with standardization and intelligence.

Build a solid foundation for production. Build a long-term, efficient and stable production and operation management and control system with the “long-term operation system” as the starting point and the “zero accident” management as the focus. With “promoting sharing” as the center, we will further promote the sharing of advanced experience, collectively tackle the pain points and difficulties of production lines, and promote the coordinated progress of various production lines.

(II) improve the technology driven system and support the improvement of product benefits

Seize the highland of industry competition. Accelerate the mastery and promotion of key technologies in hydrogen metallurgy, precision and intelligent steelmaking and other industries; With the help of cooperation with foreign advanced enterprises, accelerate the construction of the world’s leading automobile panel project; Give play to the equipment and technical advantages of Tanggang new area and cultivate “singles champion” series products such as special steel and special coating.

Technical support to improve quality and reduce cost. Rely on technological progress to improve the yield and qualification rate of high-end products and reduce costs; Rely on process optimization and technological upgrading to improve the production and quality stability of high-end products and support the high-end price of high-end products.

(III) strengthen the benchmarking and tapping potential system and vigorously reduce costs
