CES 2022 was held as scheduled, and automotive intelligence has become a hot spot in the industry
From January 4 to 7, 2022, the global consumer electronics show (CES) was held in Las Vegas. Automotive intelligence has become the focus of this exhibition. According to the data of American consumer Technology Association, compared with 2020, CES offline exhibition in 2022 plans to increase 20% of the space for displaying automotive technology. At the same time, the number of relevant exhibitors will also exceed 175, an increase of 12% compared with 2020. According to our sorting, exhibitors on automotive intelligence in this CES can be divided into four categories: 1) chip companies, such as NVIDIA, Qualcomm, Mobileye, NXP, etc; 2) Lidar manufacturers, such as Hesai, tudaton, Suteng juchuang, Valeo, etc; 3) Traditional and emerging tier 1, such as Bosch, Continental, Huizhou Desay Sv Automotive Co.Ltd(002920) , ZF, Magna, Thunder Software Technology Co.Ltd(300496) ; 4) Vehicle factories, including Daimler, BMW, Volvo, GM, Hyundai, Toyota, etc.
Chip manufacturers: high computing power helps promote high-level intelligent driving, and the layout of Qualcomm and Mobileye is accelerated
NVIDIA: publishing the NVIDIA and DRIVE Hyperion 8 of the automatic driving system, highlighting the ecological advantages of the company in three dimensions: Hardware ecology, platform promotion and car factory. Qualcomm: Launch snapdragon River by integrating the veniner arriver platform ™ Vision system, and demonstrated Xiaolong digital chassis covering intelligent driving, intelligent cockpit, Internet of vehicles and cloud services. Mobileye: launched its first high computing power chip eyeq ultra, whose performance is equivalent to the sum of the performance of 10 eyeq5 (176 tops), and is expected to be mass produced in 2025.
Lidar manufacturers: compete for the highland of large-scale mass production, and the landing of pure solid state can be expected in 2025
In this exhibition, manufacturers including Hesai technology, Suteng juchuang and tudaton showed their upcoming mass-produced lidar products. We expect that lidar will enter the boarding cycle in 2022. For lidar manufacturers, large-scale mass production capacity will become the focus of competition. In addition, in this CES, ouster demonstrated its recently launched DF series pure solid-state lidar, which naturally has the advantages of reliability, durability and low cost. It is expected to achieve mass production in 2025.
Tier 1: under the intelligent incremental track, giants actively layout and emerging forces gradually rise
In this CES, traditional Tier1 manufacturers including Bosch, Continental, ZF, Magna, etc. all exhibited a series of solutions on smart cars. From the actions of these traditional tier 1, the positive layout of vehicle intelligence has become an industry consensus. Intelligent cockpit and intelligent driving system have become the main highlights and future development trend of intelligent vehicles. In addition, Desai and Qualcomm build the fourth generation of intelligent cockpit system, which is expected to further consolidate its advantages in intelligent cockpit; Thunder Software Technology Co.Ltd(300496) released a series of new products such as a new generation of intelligent cockpit, integrated intelligent parking and Kanzi one, reflecting the attributes of software Tier1, and is expected to enjoy incremental track dividends under the background of “software defined car”.
Suggested concern
Thunder Software Technology Co.Ltd(300496) , Huizhou Desay Sv Automotive Co.Ltd(002920) , Autel Intelligent Technology Corp.Ltd(688208) , Arcsoft Corporation Limited(688088) , Guangting information, Navinfo Co.Ltd(002405) , Neusoft Corporation(600718) , Streamax Technology Co.Ltd(002970) , Hangzhou Hopechart Iot Technology Co.Ltd(688288) , Ningbo Joyson Electronic Corp(600699) , Vanjee Technology Co.Ltd(300552) , Hangzhou Arcvideo Technology Co.Ltd(688039) .
Risk tip: the recovery of chip supply is less than expected, the production and sales of intelligent vehicles are less than expected, and the price of software and hardware products is falling.
