Announcement of death of directors and general manager

The board of directors of Jiangsu Lianyungang Port Co.Ltd(601008) (hereinafter referred to as “the company” or “the company”) learned that Mr. Cheng Yanlong, director and general manager of the company, died on January 8, 2022. During his tenure as a director, general manager and member of the remuneration and assessment committee of the company, Mr. Cheng Yanlong has been scrupulous and diligent. The company deeply thanks Mr. Cheng Yanlong for his efforts and contributions to the company, expresses deep condolences on Mr. Cheng Yanlong’s death, and extends deep condolences to his family.
After the death of Mr. Cheng Yanlong, the number of current directors of the company is not lower than the minimum quorum specified in the company law and the articles of association. The company will, in accordance with the company law, the articles of association and other relevant provisions, elect new directors and appoint a new general manager as soon as possible in accordance with relevant procedures.
