Clarifying the 2025 goal of rehabilitation service promotion action will help to promote the coverage and investment of rehabilitation services
The action plan gives clear objectives for the promotion of rehabilitation services: by 2025, the number of rehabilitation doctors per 100000 population will reach 8, the number of counties (cities, districts and banners) carrying out community rehabilitation services for mental disorders will be more than 80%, and the rate of home patients receiving community rehabilitation services in counties (cities, districts and banners) carrying out community rehabilitation services for mental disorders will be more than 60%, The basic rehabilitation coverage rate for the disabled has increased from 80% in 2020 to 85%, and the adaptation rate of assistive devices for the disabled has increased from more than 80% to more than 85%. We believe that the action plan not only has programmatic guidance, but also gives a clear ratio for the improvement of the rehabilitation medical coverage rate and the adaptation rate of assistive devices for the disabled, which will promote the coverage of rehabilitation services and the investment of related devices.
Thirdly, accelerate the promotion of rehabilitation medical services and ensure basic rehabilitation services for disabled people
As one of the important actions of the disability prevention action plan, the rehabilitation service promotion action once again requires relevant units to implement the opinions on accelerating the development of rehabilitation medical work issued by eight departments such as the Health Commission, actively develop community and home rehabilitation medical services, and encourage qualified medical institutions to extend the rehabilitation medical services in institutions to communities and families.
