1、 Overview of this new variety approval
According to Announcement No. 500 of the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas of the people’s Republic of China, 677 rice varieties, 919 corn varieties, 39 cotton varieties and 86 soybean varieties were approved at the eighth meeting of the fourth national crop variety Approval Committee, Including 88 new rice varieties, 50 new corn varieties and 1 new cotton variety independently cultivated by Yuan Longping High-Tech Agriculture Co.Ltd(000998) (hereinafter referred to as “the company”) and its subsidiaries or jointly cultivated with others. The new rice, corn and cotton varieties approved by the state will provide strong variety support for the sustainable development of the company.
2、 The impact on the company of this new variety passing the approval
In terms of new rice varieties, the proportion of parental materials independently selected by the company was further increased.
