Among them, the task of “consolidating the network foundation” is clear: “carry out network technology test for industrial Internet application in 5g research, and jointly promote the application deployment of 5g in industrial enterprises”. The document also proposes to speed up the application research of 5g in industrial Internet. At the beginning of 2019, the Ministry of industry and information technology issued the guide for the construction and promotion of industrial Internet network as a guiding document for the implementation of industrial Internet network system. The document proposes to support the construction of network technology test bed based on 5g, and carry out the research, development, test and testing of basic general key technologies, standards, equipment and solutions.
In June 2019, China issued 5g commercial license, China’s 5g industry developed rapidly, and the pace of 5g application exploration accelerated. In November 2019, the Ministry of industry and information technology issued the “5g + industrial Internet” 512 project promotion plan, proposing to build five industrial public service platforms, accelerate the construction and transformation of Intranet, cover 10 key industries, refine and form at least 20 typical application scenarios, and guide the industry to improve the industrial capacity, innovation and application capacity and resource supply capacity of network key technologies, Cultivate and form an innovative trend of 5g and industrial Internet integration and superposition, mutual promotion and double development. In the same month, 11 departments including the national development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of industry and information technology jointly issued the implementation opinions on promoting the in-depth integrated development of advanced manufacturing industry and modern service industry, in the section of “exploring new paths for the integrated development of key industries and key fields”, It is proposed to “accelerate the innovative application of new generation information technologies such as artificial intelligence and 5g in manufacturing and service enterprises, and gradually realize in-depth optimization and intelligent decision-making.”
