China Greatwall Securities Co.Ltd(002939) (hereinafter referred to as the company) recently received a notice from the United Nations supported principles for Responsible Investment (hereinafter referred to as the “principles for responsible investment”) that the company has officially joined the organization and signed the “principles for responsible investment” as an investment manager.
Principles for responsible investment is an international non-profit organization supported by the United Nations. It aims to help investors understand the impact of environmental, social and Governance (hereinafter referred to as ESG) issues on investment and support signatories to integrate ESG issues into investment and ownership decisions.
The company has always focused on bringing ESG into the investment decision-making framework, developed the Great Wall ESG investment and research system with independent intellectual property rights, publicly released ESG related indexes, and has the objective conditions to practice the “responsible investment principle” in terms of institutional framework, talent reserve and material foundation.
