Announcement on the resignation of the chairman and general manager of the company

The board of directors of Hunan Valin Steel Co.Ltd(000932) (hereinafter referred to as “the company”) recently received a written resignation from Mr. Cao Zhiqiang, chairman and general manager. Due to work adjustment, Mr. Cao Zhiqiang applied to resign from his position as chairman, director, member and convener of the seventh board of directors, member of nomination and salary assessment committee and general manager of the company. According to the provisions of the company law and the articles of association, Mr. Cao Zhiqiang’s resignation did not cause the number of members of the board of directors of the company to be lower than the legal minimum, and his resignation application shall take effect from the date of reaching the board of directors of the company. After his resignation, Mr. Cao Zhiqiang will no longer hold any other position in the company.
As of the disclosure date of this announcement, Mr. Cao Zhiqiang did not hold the company’s shares. The work of Mr. Cao Zhiqiang has been handed over, and his resignation will not affect the normal progress of the company’s production and operation and related work.
