The application of Bank Of Chongqing Co.Ltd(601963) (hereinafter referred to as “the bank”) to publicly issue A-share convertible corporate bonds (hereinafter referred to as “the issuance of convertible bonds”) was approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission on October 12, 2021
The acceptance of administrative license application issued by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (hereinafter referred to as “CSRC”)
No.: 2127. On October 22, 2021, the bank received the notice of feedback on the examination of administrative licensing projects issued by the CSRC (No. 212627), and submitted the feedback reply materials to the CSRC on November 18, 2021.
As the law firm hired for this issuance of convertible bonds was filed for investigation by the CSRC for its legal services to other companies, the bank received the China Securities Regulatory Commission’s “China Securities Regulatory Commission” on January 26, 2022
In accordance with the relevant provisions of the provisions of the administrative licensing implementation procedures of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, the CSRC decided to suspend the examination of this bank’s application for issuing convertible bonds. After meeting the conditions for submitting the application for resumption of review, the bank applied to the CSRC for resumption of the review of the issue of convertible bonds. Recently, the bank received the notice of China Securities Regulatory Commission on the resumption of examination of administrative license application (No. 212627) issued by China Securities Regulatory Commission. According to the relevant provisions of the provisions on the implementation procedures of administrative license of China Securities Regulatory Commission, China Securities Regulatory Commission decided to resume the examination of the bank’s application for administrative license for the issuance of convertible bonds.
The bank’s issuance of convertible bonds needs to be approved by the CSRC. The bank will timely perform its obligation of information disclosure according to the progress. Please pay attention to the investment risk.
