On January 23, China Evergrande group (hereinafter referred to as "Evergrande group") issued an announcement on the change of directors. According to the announcement, Lai Lixin resigned as the executive director of Evergrande group, Huang Xiangui resigned as the executive director, Sean was appointed as the executive director of Evergrande group, and Liang Linlin was appointed as the non-executive director of Evergrande group.
According to the announcement, Lai Lixin resigned as the executive director of Evergrande group to invest more time in dealing with its other businesses in the group. Lai Lixin will continue to work for Evergrande group. Huang Xiangui resigned as an executive director for health reasons and will continue to work for Evergrande group.
The announcement also disclosed that Sean joined Evergrande group in November 2013 and served as executive vice president of Evergrande group, chairman of Evergrande Tourism Group Co., Ltd. and chairman of Evergrande new energy vehicle group. Sean is currently the executive director and chairman of China Evergrande New Energy Vehicle Group Co., Ltd. and the executive president of Evergrande Group Co., Ltd.
Liang Senlin has more than 30 years of banking and asset management experience and has worked in China Xinda Asset Management Co., Ltd. and China Oriental Asset Management Co., Ltd. He is currently the vice chairman of the China Financial Association of Hong Kong.
