Compared with the list of battery manufacturers counted by the agency in 2020, the top three remained unchanged, Zhongyu photovoltaic rose one place to fourth, and Lu’an Cecep Solar Energy Co.Ltd(000591) fell to fifth.

PV InfoLink said that this ranking includes the total amount of single crystal and polycrystalline cells, and does not include the shipments of vertical integration plants to their own component capacity.

According to the organization’s database, the annual growth rate of shipment of the top five professional battery plants reached 81% in 2020 and reduced to 36% in 2021, which proves that the sales of professional battery chips continue to be squeezed under the active expansion of vertical integration plants.

In addition, from the perspective of battery size, the proportion of annual shipments of large size M10 (182mm) and G12 (210mm) has reached more than 53%.

Tongwei Co.Ltd(600438) is a double leader in the field of polycrystalline silicon materials and cells. Zheshang Securities Co.Ltd(601878) also predicts that the total battery capacity will exceed 55 GW by the end of Tongwei Co.Ltd(600438) 2022, of which the capacity of 210 large-size batteries will exceed 35 GW.

Shanghai Aiko Solar Energy Co.Ltd(600732) is mainly engaged in the R & D, production and sales of high-efficiency Cecep Solar Energy Co.Ltd(000591) batteries. In the first half of 2021, Shanghai Aiko Solar Energy Co.Ltd(600732) battery cell sales volume was 8.54 GW, with a year-on-year increase of 62.98%; The operating revenue reached 6.868 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 85.88%, and the product shipment and operating revenue reached a new high.
