Hong Kong stocks fell 0.43% to 24112.78 on the 18th

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index fell 105.25 points, or 0.43%, to 24112.78 on the 18th. Transactions on the main board throughout the day amounted to HK $112.315 billion.

The state-owned enterprise index fell 14.88 points, or 0.18%, to close at 8449 points. Hang Seng technology index fell 25.96 points, or 0.45%, to close at 5698.54.

In terms of blue chips, Tencent holdings fell 2.75% to close at HK $452.8; Hong Kong Stock Exchange rose 0.4% to close at HK $452.6; China Mobile rose 0.1% to HK $50.6; HSBC Holdings fell 0.82% to HK $54.55.

In terms of local stocks in Hong Kong, Changshi group rose 0.97% to close at HK $52.3; Sun Hung Kai Properties rose 0.16% to HK $94.55; Henderson properties rose 0.6% to HK $33.65.

In terms of Chinese financial stocks, Bank Of China Limited(601988) did not rise or fall, closing at HK $2.97; China Construction Bank Corporation(601939) rose 0.34% to HK $5.87; Industrial And Commercial Bank Of China Limited(601398) fell 0.64% to HK $4.67; Ping An Insurance (Group) Company Of China Ltd(601318) rose 0.33% to HK $60.85; China Life Insurance Company Limited(601628) rose 0.45% to HK $13.52.

In terms of petroleum and petrochemical stocks, Petrochina Company Limited(601857) Chemical shares rose 1.73% to close at HK $4.12; Petrochina Company Limited(601857) shares rose 1.79% to HK $3.97; CNOOC rose 0.54% to HK $9.35.
