The project “Research on Key Technologies of quality assurance for 5g industrial application” was officially launched

Recently, the launching and implementation scheme demonstration meeting of the key special project “Research on key technologies for 5g industrial application quality assurance” of the national key R & D plan “national quality infrastructure system” undertaken by the Institute of comprehensive technology and economy of instruments and meters in the machinery industry (hereinafter referred to as “the Institute”) was successfully held in Wuxi Online Offline Communication Information Technology Co.Ltd(300959) way.

5g is a key new infrastructure supporting the digital, networked and intelligent transformation of economy and society. Some countries and regions are accelerating the strategic layout of 5g in the industrial field. Industrial applications have special requirements for network communication technology, such as high real-time, high reliability and high security. However, a systematic 5g application standard, detection, measurement, certification and other quality assurance system for industry has not been established.

The key project of “Research on Key Technologies of 5g oriented industrial application quality assurance” is led by the instrument integration institute, jointly with China Academy of metrology, China Academy of information and communication, China Mobile Communication Group Beijing Co., Ltd., China Metrology University, China Automotive Research Software Evaluation (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., Shaanxi Aerospace Technology Application Research Institute Co., Ltd., Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd It is jointly undertaken by Shaanxi coal group Yulin Chemical Co., Ltd. and other units.

The project plans to focus on complex and diverse industrial application scenarios and on-site environment, break through the key technologies of 5g industrial application quality assurance, study and establish 5g industrial application quality evaluation index system and evaluation methods, physical channel and field strength measurement and traceability measurement methods in complex industrial environment, and develop key testing, measurement, evaluation tools and typical application scenario verification system, so as to provide scientific and technological support for 5g’s application in industrial field.

At present, the project has made positive progress in the development of 5g industrial standard system and key standards, wireless channel measurement of industrial application scenarios, traceability and quantitative simulation of complex signal field strength, metrological traceability of key physical parameters, design and construction of 5g industrial application test bed and typical scenarios.

Yizong has an advantageous foundation in 5g industrial application, industrial communication standardization, testing and certification. It has built a technical team with solid professional knowledge. It has jointly built “5g industrial application joint innovation laboratory” and “5g application joint innovation laboratory in chemical industry” with Huawei, China Mobile and Yulin chemical, and has built OPC UA, PROFINET, PROFIBUS, Hart More than ten international and Chinese dual authorized industrial communication testing and Certification Laboratories, such as WIA-PA, will effectively ensure the smooth implementation of the project.
