Guangxi Aviation Development Co., Ltd. said that since this year, in the face of unexpected difficulties and challenges such as repeated covid-19 pneumonia outbreaks and complex and changeable external environment, the company has made full use of policy support to speed up the construction of Nanning international air cargo hub. On the basis of cultivating existing international cargo routes and opening one in January, it has opened four new international cargo routes from Nanning to New Delhi, Sabah, Hanoi and Chennai, so as to stabilize the industrial chain Supply chain, smooth the double circulation of internal and external markets.
At present, Nanning Airport is flying 14 international cargo routes, which can lead to 8 ASEAN and South Asian countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, India, Nepal and Bangladesh.
At the same time, Nanning Airport has introduced strong support of transport capacity. After the introduction of one cargo aircraft of tianhuohang and one cargo aircraft of Yuantong Airlines stationed in Nanning Airport in 2021, the second cargo aircraft of Yuantong airlines and the third cargo aircraft stationed in Nanning Airport were successfully introduced on April 15 this year. Since 2022, three stationed cargo planes have flown a total of 736 international cargo flights, with a cargo volume of 10200 tons.
In order to explore new markets, Guangxi Aviation Development Co., Ltd. took advantage of the qualification of the designated port of entry fruit of Nanning Airport to obtain the official approval of the General Administration of Customs to expand the air transport channels for fruit imports from RCEP member countries into Guangxi. At present, the "Thai durian season" is being used as a breakthrough to carry out the "entry fruit season". Taking the opportunity of the opening of the entry fruit airport port, Nanning Airport has vigorously released the market effect. As of May 18, Nanning Airport has imported 8035 pieces of 87.4 tons of Thai fruit.
In addition, Guangxi aviation development company optimized the supervision, inspection and guarantee operation process, straightened out the data transmission and exchange paths of various systems, improved the monitoring and epidemic prevention and control facilities and equipment, and promoted the operation time of Nanning Airport International cross-border e-commerce center from 5 days a week to 7 days a week. Since the "5 + 2" normalized operation has been realized, the cumulative guarantee of relevant export products is nearly 544 tons, with a value of 207 million yuan. Since April, the average daily international cargo and mail throughput of Nanning Airport has reached 207 tons.
