After “Harry Potter”, Netease has made efforts on big IP again. On the evening of May 20, at the annual conference of Netease games, the famous IP work Diablo: immortality came to the final stage.
As a pioneer of ARPG (action role play), Diablo was developed by Blizzard Entertainment, a well-known game manufacturer. Since its release in 1997, it has won numerous awards. Its original design concepts such as dynamic map and limited field of view radius have become an example for countless latecomers to learn from.
In addition, it is worth mentioning that Diablo has also won the Guinness World sales record. In March this year, “Diablo: immortality” opened a global Apple Store reservation and won the global recommendation of the app store as soon as it went online, which shows the enduring charm of Diablo, an epic IP.
As the first mobile game jointly created by Blizzard and Netease, “Diablo: immortality” is positioned as a 3A masterpiece on the mobile terminal. The game inherits the unique Diablo painting style and broad world outlook of Diablo series, and also creates a new story plot and playing method. As of press time, Diablo: immortality has more than 35 million global bookings and 15 million bookings in China. Diablo: immortality is scheduled to go online on June 23.
