In order to promote the high-quality development of tourism in Guangxi and accelerate the construction of a strong cultural tourism area, the Department of culture and tourism of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, in accordance with the requirements of relevant documents of the Ministry of culture and tourism and in combination with the evaluation and acceptance over the years, organized experts to revise and form a new version of the administrative measures for the establishment of Guangxi global tourism demonstration areas and the acceptance criteria and scoring rules for Guangxi global tourism demonstration areas, which were officially issued and implemented recently.
The administrative measures for the establishment of Guangxi tourism demonstration zone mainly modifies the acceptance procedures and defines the inspection contents of the material audit expert group and the on-site verification expert group. The acceptance criteria and scoring rules of Guangxi global tourism demonstration zone optimize the acceptance methods, clearly distinguish between document inspection items and on-site inspection items, and strengthen the accuracy of scoring content and scoring guidance.
It is understood that since the establishment of Guangxi global tourism demonstration zone, the culture and Tourism Department of the autonomous region has carried out evaluation and acceptance for five times. By the end of 2021, 31 counties (districts) in the region have successfully established Guangxi global tourism demonstration zone.
