China Securities Association issued the measures for the administration of professional reputation information in the securities industry

On May 20, the China Securities Association issued the measures for the administration of professional reputation information in the securities industry (hereinafter referred to as the measures), which regulates the definition, collection, management, disclosure, inquiry, repair, correction and application of professional reputation information in the securities industry. The measures will be implemented as of September 1, 2022.

The Measures specify the scope of professional reputation information, including securities companies, members of their domestic subsidiaries, other subsidiaries subject to the self-discipline management of the association, securities investment consulting institutions, securities rating agencies and other institutions subject to the self-discipline management of the association and their staff, as well as candidates participating in the level evaluation test organized by the association. These Measures shall apply to the employees in the securities industry specified in the relevant provisions of the CSRC and the association or the personnel managed by the directors, supervisors, senior managers and employees of securities companies. In addition, it is also clear that the content of practice reputation information includes basic information, integrity information and other practice reputation information.

The measures further improve the source of professional reputation information. First, make full use of the existing resources of the securities and futures market to obtain professional reputation information. Except for those made or recognized by the association, the integrity information about the objects of self-discipline management is mainly obtained from the integrity archives database of the securities and futures market; Second, further standardize the recognition and recording standards of other professional reputation information, and add procedural provisions such as the recognition of corresponding information, as well as the levels and standards of other professional reputation information recorded by members.

In addition, the measures also strengthen the management mechanism of professional reputation information. First, rely on the management system of association members and employees to realize the collection and management of professional reputation information; Second, refine the collection, management, query, correction, repair and other processes to achieve more standardized information management standards and processes; Third, the professional reputation information management is divided into different subjects, different businesses, different categories and different colleagues, so as to support multi-dimensional intelligent query, statistics, analysis and monitoring of information and provide information support for various work.
