On May 19, the Strategic Research Center for modern agricultural equipment of the state machinery group (hereinafter referred to as the “strategic research center”) was unveiled at the high-quality development promotion meeting of agricultural machinery and equipment of the state machinery group held by China Machinery Industry Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “state Machinery Group”). The center focuses on strategic planning and related policy research in the field of agricultural machinery with the development orientation of building a think tank platform for Strategic Research of national machinery group and even China’s agricultural machinery industry.
It is reported that the establishment of the strategic research center is an important measure for the state machinery group to create a source of original technology in the field of agricultural machinery and a long modern industrial chain. The strategic research center is led by the China Academy of agricultural machinery, a subsidiary of the state machinery group, and established jointly with China Yituo, China Fuma and the machinery industry planning and Research Institute. At the same time, it has absorbed the advantageous forces such as the technological innovation strategic alliance of the agricultural equipment industry, industry associations, colleges, universities and enterprises.
Agricultural machinery and equipment is an important foundation for the development of modern agriculture and an important support to ensure national food security. Compared with developed countries, China’s agricultural machinery and equipment still has a large gap. The key core technology is still insufficient, the strategic layout and planning are not enough, and the top-level design still needs to be strengthened. Carrying out strategic research on agricultural machinery and equipment technology development, market demand, policy planning and technology foresight is of great significance to promote the high-quality development of agricultural machinery and equipment. It is understood that the strategic research center aims to study and analyze the development trend of global science and technology industry, develop new equipment for new agronomy, solve the scientific and technological problems of China’s agricultural machinery innovation and development, and lead the development of the industry; Connect the current and future market demand, carry out technical route research along the direction of intelligence, and provide strong support for the state to support and promote agricultural mechanization and the transformation and upgrading of agricultural machinery and equipment; Deeply study relevant policies of the industry to provide support for the development of top-level design of the industry. In addition, the strategic research center will also focus on building two highlands of scientific and technological innovation and talents, become an industry strategic research talent and team training platform, and focus on training strategic scientists, young and middle-aged research teams, industry research experts and science, technology and industry management experts.
