Li Shiyan introduced that at present, the digital man has experienced the 1.0 stage represented by "paper man" and the 2.0 era represented by vtuber anchor (i.e. virtual anchor), and has evolved to the 3.0 stage. The digital man 3.0 with high-precision model and artificial intelligence driven characteristics has become the mainstream of the industry. He said that AI is involved in the modeling and content production of the third generation of digital people, which makes the production of digital people more efficient and intelligent. It can be oriented to the whole group of users, can be carried by video, live broadcast, Chatbot and other carriers, and has the ability to interact with thousands of people.
In Li Shiyan's view, the digital human industry has three core driving forces: user demand and technology upgrading, policy support and capital influx, and iteration of computing platform. "Every digital human development is essentially driven by technology. The demand for users to obtain information and interaction from graphic, graphic, audio and video to real-time 3D interactive feedback will become the fundamental driving force for the long-term development of digital human, and will create a lot of demand in the future."
However, Li Shiyan also said that at present, the large-scale implementation of Chinese digital people still faces three difficulties: the fragmentation of the industrial chain, the lack of effective connection between service scenes and performance scenes, and the high cost of meeting high-frequency demand. Firstly, the nodes of the digital human industry chain are relatively fragmented and can not cooperate efficiently, resulting in high barriers in the production and optimization of digital human. At present, most companies in the industry are only one or several links in the whole process of digital human production and operation; Secondly, there is no effective connection between the service scene and the performance scene, which shows that the performance digital people do not have the business capabilities required by customers, while the service digital people lack human facilities and are difficult to communicate with users; Third, the cost of meeting high mobility and high frequency needs is still very high. In the final analysis, this problem is still the production efficiency of digital people.
