2021 is a political year, a start year and a complex year. Under the strong leadership of CAAC, all cadres and employees of Central South civil aviation have made concerted efforts to overcome difficulties, coordinate epidemic prevention and control and the safe development of the area under their jurisdiction, and make solid progress in all work. The Central South Area completed 2.414 million hours and 1.007 million sorties of transportation flights, with a year-on-year increase of 6.5% and 8.1% respectively, accounting for 23.0% and 25.5% of the whole industry respectively; The transportation airports under the jurisdiction have handled 220 million passengers, 5.351 million tons of cargo and mail, and 2.527 million aircraft movements, up from 103.8%, 115.8% and 109.5% last year, accounting for 24.6%, 30.0% and 25.8% of the whole industry respectively. 233000 general-purpose flight hours and 597000 takeoff sorties were completed, accounting for about one fifth of the whole industry, with a year-on-year increase of 39.9% and 43.0%. Guangzhou Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Company Limited(600004) ranks first in passenger throughput in China. There was no serious air transport symptom or above in the units under the jurisdiction. The general air transport symptom hourly rate of the cause of responsibility was 0.016, a year-on-year decrease of 25%, and the number of fatal accidents and deaths in navigation decreased by 66.7% and 85.7% respectively year-on-year. Overall, the security situation remained stable, production and operation picked up significantly, epidemic prevention and control was generally stable, reform and development moved forward steadily, service quality was continuously improved, administration according to law was promoted, and Party building played a leading role.
The meeting analyzed the current development situation and put forward new requirements. 2022 is a key year for the development of civil aviation in the 14th five year plan. The construction of civil aviation power in the new era has entered a key stage, and the new journey of high-quality development of Central South civil aviation has been fully opened.
