On January 14, the construction of major projects and key projects in Xuhui District of Shanghai in 2022 was started. The project involves industrial development, livelihood security and infrastructure, covering cultural creativity, digital economy, modern finance, life and health, transportation improvement, ecological benefit to the people and other fields, such as plot F of West Bank Financial City, plot EF of Beiyang artificial intelligence Town, etc.
Previously, Shanghai Xuhui has hosted four consecutive World artificial intelligence conferences. Xuhui artificial intelligence industry has been selected into the list of the first batch of strategic emerging industry clusters in China and commended by the State Council. The total output of artificial intelligence and related industries has increased by nearly 30% in five years.
In 2022, the total investment in fixed assets in Xuhui District is expected to be 40.7 billion yuan. Among 85 major projects and key projects, industrial projects are expected to start 2.84 million square meters, complete 1.38 million square meters and invest 18.7 billion yuan annually.
It is reported that Xuhui will further promote the formation of four “100 billion level” industrial clusters of digital economy, life and health, cultural creativity and modern finance. With artificial intelligence as the core, vigorously promote the construction of projects such as digital intelligence Valley in the West Bank and Beiyang artificial intelligence Town, accelerate the gathering of artificial intelligence headquarters and vertical chain enterprises, develop digital economy industrial clusters, and launch the brand of “scientific innovation embroidery belt”; Focusing on biomedicine, accelerate the construction of Xuhui Binjiang Fosun center and Shanghai Xi’An International Medical Investment Company Limited(000516) science and innovation center, so as to provide a carrier platform for the development of life and health industry clusters; Guided by art media and relying on the construction of media port on the West Bank, develop cultural and creative industry clusters.
