The notice said that with the consent of the national inter ministerial Joint Conference on the development of farmers' cooperatives, it was decided to start the evaluation of the National Farmers' cooperative model society (hereinafter referred to as the "national model society") in 2022.
According to the notice, in principle, the farmers' cooperatives applying for national model cooperatives should be provincial model cooperatives, in line with the relevant provisions of the law of the people's Republic of China on Farmers' professional cooperatives and the measures. It is planned to evaluate 2127 national demonstration cooperatives (including 197 National Farmers' Water Cooperation Demonstration organizations), and allocate the quota by comprehensively considering the development and demonstration of farmers' cooperatives in various provinces, giving full play to the role of farmers' cooperatives in stabilizing grain and expanding oil, and supporting the development of poverty-stricken areas. When applying for national demonstration cooperatives, all localities shall take into account the industrial distribution, and give appropriate preference and priority to the number of farmers' cooperatives producing and operating grain, soybean oil and other important Shenzhen Agricultural Products Group Co.Ltd(000061) and providing relevant services.
