All goods shall complete all customs clearance procedures at the first time, leave Shanghai Pudong airport through the customs checkpoint in batches on the same day, and be transported to hospitals, centers for Disease Control and prevention, pathology research centers and laboratories in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Fujian and other places.
On April 30, five customs directly under the Yangtze River Delta region, namely, Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Ningbo and Hefei, issued a joint circular and introduced five measures to fully ensure the safety and smoothness of the industrial chain and supply chain in the Yangtze River Delta region and minimize the impact of the epidemic on economic and social development. It is reported that these goods are the first beneficiaries to enjoy a package of safeguard measures after the announcement.
Affected by the epidemic, the demand of terminal hospitals and patients for relevant medical materials has increased significantly. In order to ensure sustainable supply, with the strong support of Shanghai Customs and Eastern Air Logistics Co.Ltd(601156) the batch of medical materials was urgently sent to Shanghai by charter. One batch of goods will be urgently transported directly to Shanghai Pan Asian Medical Laboratory for epidemic prevention and control and patient diagnosis and treatment.
Shanghai Pudong Airport Customs opened up a green channel to communicate with enterprises in advance and guide enterprises to declare paperless, make an appointment for inspection online, apply for Unaccompanied inspection, etc. At the same time, close contact and cooperation with ground agents, check and release when people wait for goods, and pass customs efficiently.
At present, more than 230 cadres and employees of Shanghai Pudong airport customs are closed on duty. Since March 28, more than 800 batches of enterprise expedited customs clearance applications have been accepted.
Shanghai Customs has respectively issued a notice to speed up the declaration and withdrawal of import and export goods and ensure the smooth supply chain of the industrial chain in the Yangtze River Delta, as well as ten measures to fight the epidemic, protect the people’s livelihood and help enterprises promote development, benefiting the “white list” key enterprises and “white list” enterprises of foreign trade in Shanghai.
