On April 29, the first “3060” series 2200t jack up wind power installation ship independently designed and built by CIMC Raffles for Shanghai Boqiang Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd. held a commencement ceremony in Yantai construction base.
It is reported that the project has four pile legs, a jack up offshore wind power installation ship with self navigation function, equipped with 2200t pile winding offshore crane and rack and pinion lifting system. The length of pile legs is 120m (which can be extended to 136m), meeting the requirements of 65m operating water depth, 2.5m meaningful wave height sea condition and DP2 dynamic positioning; The deck variable load can meet the demand of loading 4 sets of 12MW or 8 sets of 8mW wind turbines; The lifting and installation capacity can easily meet the installation requirements of 160m hub height and 20MW wind turbine in the future; The design standard meets the operation requirements in Chinese sea area, European North Sea and Southeast Asian sea area, and is classified into China Classification Society.
Since the commencement of the project, CIMC Raffles has opened the cooperation between Huadian Heavy Industries Co.Ltd(601226) , Boqiang heavy industry and CIMC Raffles’ “3060” series wind power installation platform project. At the same time, it also marks that the project has officially entered the construction stage. The ship is expected to be delivered in 2023 and given priority to the construction and installation of offshore wind power in China.
The “3060” double carbon target has been included in the “14th five year plan”. As one of China’s important clean energy, the large-scale development of offshore wind power has a decisive impact on the realization of “3060”. In recent years, Shandong Province has insisted on taking the development of offshore wind power as an important starting point to promote the green transformation of energy. Comprehensive measures have been taken to promote the large-scale and intensive development of offshore wind power. The commencement and construction of 2200t jack up wind power installation ship project will give full play to the comprehensive benefits of the utilization of marine resources and promote the large-scale development of offshore wind power.
