The potential of ice and snow industry is being gradually released. The latest China ice and snow tourism development report (2022) issued by China Tourism Research Institute points out that despite the impact of the epidemic, stimulated by the supply and demand of Beijing Winter Olympic Games, the return of ice and snow outbound tourism, the upgrading of tourism consumption and the national layout of ice and snow facilities, It is estimated that China’s ice and snow leisure tourism revenue is expected to reach 323.3 billion yuan in 2021-2022 ice and snow season. Institutional sources pointed out that the Winter Olympics and relevant policies will drive more places to start developing ice and snow tourism products in the future. Guoyuan Securities Company Limited(000728) pointed out that through the analysis of the impact of the previous Olympic Games on the economy, the Winter Olympic Games will bring overall economic boost to China and its corresponding host cities. There are huge potential business opportunities in such segments as venue construction, sponsorship services, technical support, energy and transportation supporting facilities and sales of licensed products. It is suggested to pay attention to the leading enterprises in the segments. In addition, according to the white paper data of China’s skiing industry, China is the world’s largest primary skiing market. With the concept of the Winter Olympic Games and industrial policy support, China’s skiing industry is expected to enter a golden period of development.
