According to the website of the Chinese Embassy in Tunisia, on January 14, Ambassador Zhang Jianguo met with elomi, vice president of the Tunisian Federation of industry, commerce and handicrafts, and presented a batch of epidemic prevention materials to the Tunisian Federation of industry, commerce and handicrafts in the name of the Chinese Embassy in Tunisia. The two sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in economy, trade and other fields. Ambassador Zhang said that since the outbreak of covid-19, China has done its best to provide anti epidemic assistance to Tunisia and further promote China Tunisia economic and trade cooperation to help Tunisia’s economic recovery. Tunisian chambers of Commerce and enterprises are welcome to actively participate in the Fifth China International Import Expo in China to promote the export of high-quality products such as olive oil and red wine to China.
Vice President elomi expressed sincere thanks to the Chinese embassy for presenting masks and other epidemic prevention materials. He said that China’s successful experience in trade, investment and park development is worth learning from Tunisia.
