April 26 is World Intellectual Property Day. The intellectual property financing innovation laboratory officially launched the preparation of "enterprise intellectual property pledge financing index". The intellectual property financing innovation laboratory was jointly established when the State Intellectual Property Office and Bank Of China Limited(601988) signed the comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement in 2021. It aims to jointly carry out subject research, business innovation and policy analysis, and promote the innovative development of intellectual property financing through the government, industry, University and research mechanism.
"Enterprise intellectual property pledge financing index" aims to measure the change of enterprise intellectual property financing environment and business development. It has three sub indexes of "financial service index", "business development index" and "enterprise credit index", which are respectively used to describe the satisfaction of enterprises in obtaining intellectual property pledge financing services, the business development trend of intellectual property pledge financing enterprises and the change of credit status of intellectual property pledge financing enterprises. The index will become the first professional index in the field of intellectual property financing in China, opening up a new situation of dynamically tracking intellectual property in financial services, helping to study and judge the environmental changes of enterprise intellectual property pledge financing, assist in the formulation and improvement of intellectual property related policies, and improve the understanding and application of intellectual property financial value by enterprises, so as to help the high-quality development of intellectual property finance.
Relying on the intellectual property financing innovation laboratory and under the guidance of the application promotion department of the State Intellectual Property Office, Bank Of China Limited(601988) Inclusive Finance Division will carry out the specific work of index preparation. At the same time, the school of Inclusive Finance of Renmin University of China will also be entrusted to participate in the preparation of the index.
Subsequently, Bank Of China Limited(601988) will strengthen bank government cooperation with the State Intellectual Property Office, constantly innovate new models of intellectual property finance, build a new ecosystem of intellectual property finance, and provide continuous innovation support for the high-quality development of China's real economy.
