On the afternoon of April 27, the launching activity of the national integrated computing network Chengdu Chongqing national hub node (Chongqing) was held in Bishan District, Chongqing. The event was hosted by Chongqing Municipal People’s government with the theme of “Xiangdong digital computing grand event and drawing a blueprint for digital economy”.
In February this year, the national development and Reform Commission and other four ministries and commissions officially replied and agreed to start the construction of a national hub node of the national integrated computing network in Chengdu and Chongqing. In order to actively integrate into the national “counting from the east to the west” project and accelerate the construction of Chengdu Chongqing national hub node (Chongqing), Chongqing actively promotes the intensive and green development of data center and makes every effort to build a smart city and smart manufacturing town.
On the same day, the activity awarded licenses to three starting areas of Chongqing data center clusters, including Shuitu new town in Liangjiang New Area, Bishan area of Western (Chongqing) Science City and Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone, held cooperation contracts for key projects, and initiated the establishment of East digital West computing (Chongqing) industrial alliance.
It is reported that Chongqing Data Center cluster has the support capacity of 90000 racks and 450000 servers, and the three starting areas approved by the state have a good development trend. Among them, the Shuitu new city in Liangjiang New Area has built 9 super large and large data centers, with the support capacity of 80000 racks and 390000 servers, accounting for about 85% of the total in Chongqing. It is the cloud computing base with the highest concentration and the largest scale in the western region; Bishan area of Western (Chongqing) Science City has built a high-performance computing cluster. Dawning Information Industry Co.Ltd(603019) Advanced Computing Center has been built, and the immersion liquid cooling system is adopted to build an advanced data center integrating general computing, heterogeneous computing and intelligent computing; Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone has built Jiangnan big data Industrial Park, Supercomputing Center of Jingdong exploration and Research Institute, Beijing E-Hualu Information Technology Co.Ltd(300212) data lake, etc.
Qin Wenmin, Secretary of Bishan district Party committee, introduced that Bishan area of Western (Chongqing) science city is one of the three starting areas of Chongqing Data Center cluster. It is also one of the Chongqing government Cloud City double living center, the first batch of pilot districts and counties of government data collaboration in Chongqing and the demonstration park of China Singapore (Chongqing) Internet data dedicated channel. At present, Bishan district is actively building a semiconductor and high-end chip industry chain represented by Dawning Information Industry Co.Ltd(603019) to build a new engine for the development of digital economy with high quality.
The relevant person in charge of Chongqing big data Bureau said that during the 14th Five Year Plan period, Chongqing will cooperate with Sichuan Province to build a national hub node of the national integrated computing network, optimize the layout of data centers and storage resources, guide the intensive, large-scale and green development of data centers, and promote computing, algorithms, data intensification and service innovation.
