Zhou Rongfeng said that this year, the Ministry of transport will accelerate the construction of charging infrastructure along the highway. Recently, the Ministry of transport, together with the national energy administration and other departments, has studied and drafted an action plan to accelerate the construction of charging infrastructure along the highway. It is proposed to accelerate the formation of a charging facility network along the highway with “fixed charging facilities as the main body and mobile charging facilities as the supplement” in accordance with the principle of “pile station first, supply promoting demand, adjusting measures to local conditions, classified promotion, extensive coverage, moderate advance, universal openness, intelligence and efficiency”, Continuously meet the growing demand for electric vehicle charging.
Zhou Rongfeng revealed that at present, the action plan is soliciting opinions from all localities. The Ministry of transport will revise and improve according to the feedback, print and distribute it to all localities for implementation as soon as possible, and promote the effective coverage of charging infrastructure network along the highway.
