Li Qingwen, President of automotive evaluation Institute, introduced that after five years of persistence and efforts, the top ten transmission evaluation activities have witnessed the rapid popularization and quality improvement of automatic transmission in the passenger car market, the rapid iteration and innovation breakthrough of hybrid technology and products, and the rapid growth and trend formation of passenger car electric drive technology. Today, the influence and appeal of the activity are expanding.
Xu Xiangyang, chairman of the top ten transmission selection committee, introduced that compared with previous evaluations, the jury especially added evaluation contents related to electric drive in this evaluation, which is mainly based on the adjustment with the times based on the current automobile market pattern, and fully reflects the current market pattern in the field of transmission in the world. "The latest electric drive evaluation methods include objective evaluation items and subjective evaluation items." Xu Xiangyang introduced that the objective evaluation items include the total rated power density, the rated torque density of the assembly, the assembly integration, the comprehensive efficiency of the WLTC assembly and the advanced design of the overall design. Subjective evaluation items include dynamic response, medium and high speed acceleration performance, braking energy recovery performance, sound quality of electric drive assembly and intelligent network.
The transmission products of Hyundai, Aisin, SAIC, SAIC GM, Geely, Xiaokang, BMW, GAC EA and Byd Company Limited(002594) won relevant awards.
