It is understood that under the deployment and coordination of Shanghai municipal governments at all levels, on April 17 and 18, Tesla's 8000 employees returned to the factory, and the battery and motor workshops resumed production on the morning of 19. At present, many assembly lines have been running efficiently. Among them, Tesla phase II vehicle workshop is the most efficient automatic vehicle production line at present. Song Gang, senior director of production and manufacturing of Tesla super factory, said: we will gradually climb the production capacity in the next 3 or 4 days to achieve full production in a single shift as a whole.

At present, many suppliers in Jiangsu Province are still in the state of shutdown, and the transportation is difficult. At present, the relevant departments of the Ministry of industry and information technology, Jiangsu Province and Suzhou are also actively coordinating the restoration of the supply chain. With the support of relevant departments, Tesla has a number of suppliers to actively promote the resumption of work and production.
