Ministry of industry and information technology: the total number of new energy vehicles has exceeded 10 million

According to the statistics of the Ministry of industry and information technology, China Shanxi Guoxin Energy Corporation Limited(600617) automobile has promoted 10.33 million vehicles in total, becoming an important force leading the electric transformation of the global automobile industry.

Since this year, new energy vehicles have shown the development trend of “accelerating the improvement” of market scale and development quality, and the industrial scale has reached a new high. The cumulative production and sales of new energy vehicles in the first quarter were 1293000 and 1257000 respectively, an increase of 1.4 times year-on-year, exceeding the annual level in 2019. The market penetration rate has reached 19.3%, a year-on-year increase of 11.4 percentage points, an increase of 5.9 percentage points over the whole year of 2021.

Luo Junjie, spokesman of the Ministry of industry and information technology and director of the operation monitoring and Coordination Bureau: the cumulative sales of Chinese brand new energy passenger vehicles increased by more than 1.5 times year-on-year, higher than the overall growth rate of the market. In the total sales of passenger cars, Chinese brands accounted for 75.1%, an increase of 2 percentage points over the same period last year.

Driven by the demonstration operation of fuel cell vehicles, the pilot of new energy vehicle power exchange mode and the support of relevant policies, the cumulative production and sales of fuel cell vehicles increased by 7.2 times and 3.9 times year-on-year respectively, and the cumulative production of models in power exchange mode was close to 40000, an increase of 82% year-on-year. At present, 492000 charging piles of various types have been built, with a year-on-year increase of 3.6 times, including 85000 public piles and 407000 private piles, with a year-on-year increase of 1 and 5 times respectively; 154 replacement power stations were built, a year-on-year increase of 1.6 times. The Ministry of industry and information technology will continue to carry out the pilot work of new energy vehicles to the countryside and power exchange mode, and start the pilot city of comprehensive electrification of vehicles in the public sector. We will accelerate the construction of charging and replacing facilities, promote information sharing and unified settlement, resolutely crack down on unfair competition such as driving up prices, and promote the return of raw material prices to rationality as soon as possible.
