On April 16, under the joint guidance of the agricultural trade promotion center of the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas, the Shenzhen Agricultural Products Group Co.Ltd(000061) quality and safety center of the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas and the China Green Food Development Center, the first national public welfare prefabricated vegetable industry self-discipline organization - China prefabricated Vegetable Industry Alliance, which is supported by more than 10 provincial agricultural and rural competent departments and municipal governments and served as the expert committee of the research institute by several national scientific research and economic research institutions, was officially established.
Although it has been booming for many years and has broad space in terms of market potential and growth, there are still many problems in the overall prefabricated vegetable industry. First, the concentration is low, the development between regions is uneven, the rules and norms are not unified, and the industrial entry threshold is low. Except for a few leading enterprises such as Hengxing group and Zhengda Group, most of them are scattered small and medium-sized enterprises. In 2020 alone, the number of Chinese prefabricated vegetable enterprises registered reached 12983. According to the industry report, Shandong is the province with the largest number of prefabricated vegetable enterprises, reaching more than 8400, with an average of more than 150 in each county.
At the same time, in the face of the trillion industry boom, Guangdong, Shandong, Fujian, Hebei and other places have successively issued prefabricated vegetable industry development policies to create "prefabricated vegetable capital", "100 billion industrial cluster" or "single champion enterprise". In this context, as the first national industry organization, the establishment of China prefabricated vegetable industry alliance is particularly necessary.
As a representative member of the channel e-commerce platform of China's Prefabricated food industry alliance, Peng Yue, director of Alibaba tmall fresh food business department, said: "prefabricated food is the trend category of tmall's sustained and rapid growth.
