At about 12:00 on April 16, Jiangsu Rudong LNG terminal ushered in a super large LNG ship “Zaka”, which brought 115000 tons of LNG on this voyage, which can meet the daily gas consumption of 320 million households. According to statistics, the ship is the 23rd LNG ship connected by Jiangsu this year. 2.2 million tons of liquefied natural gas are transported from here to East China to ensure the gas demand in East China.
It is reported that Jiangsu LNG terminal is currently the largest and most capable clean energy hub base in the Yangtze River Delta. There are 6 LNG storage tanks with a total capacity of 1.08 million m3. According to the calculation that one cubic meter of LNG can be gasified into 625 cubic meters of natural gas, 670 million cubic meters of gasified natural gas can be reserved under the condition of full storage capacity of the station, which can ensure the gas consumption of 23 million households for one month in a row during the peak period of gas consumption in winter.
