China Central Television News reported on April 14 that at about 13:00 on the same day, the freight car parked at Daqin Railway Co.Ltd(601006) cuipingshan station (located in Jizhou District, Tianjin) slipped away and collided with the running freight train, resulting in 17 freight cars off-line, of which 11 fell under the railway bridge, resulting in Daqin Railway Co.Ltd(601006) interruption of traffic and no casualties.
The railway department sent six rescue trains and nearly 1000 staff to the scene to carry out rescue work from both ends of the truck, ease the vehicles in the section, recover the vehicles off the line, and rush through the line as soon as possible.
It is understood that the accident occurred 600 meters away from Daqin Railway Co.Ltd(601006) 413 km. At that time, the train loaded with coal was on the viaduct. The two trains collided, and several carriages derailed and fell under the bridge. These two trains are freight trains and do not carry passengers.
Some witnesses said that the area near the accident site belongs to the demolition area, and there are not many residents living there.
