On the 14th, it was learned from Xinjiang Electric Power Trading Center Co., Ltd. that the outward power transmission of Xinjiang electric power in the first quarter was 28.925 billion kwh. Among them, 7.376 billion kwh of new energy was delivered, accounting for 25.5% of the total electricity delivered, more than a quarter.
Sending out 7.376 billion kwh of new energy can reduce the combustion of 2.23 million tons of standard coal. Based on the load of 60 tons of raw coal per train carriage, it needs about 52000 carriages to transport. It is equivalent to reducing 6.02 million tons of carbon dioxide, 19000 tons of sulfur dioxide and 16500 tons of nitrogen oxides, which plays an important role in promoting energy transformation and low-carbon development.
Xinjiang is rich in energy resources. The total reserves of wind energy resources and the total amount of Cecep Solar Energy Co.Ltd(000591) annual irradiance rank second in China. There is great potential and space for the development of new energy industry. In order to further enhance the transmission capacity of the power grid, State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. accelerated the construction of new energy related power transmission and transformation projects. Shanshan County, Turpan City, Xinjiang Cecep Solar Energy Co.Ltd(000591) , is rich in wind energy resources, with a total of 23 new energy stations and an installed capacity of 872000 kW of photovoltaic and wind power. On March 29, Shanshan (Tuha) 750 kV power transmission and transformation project was completed and put into operation, opening up the new energy transmission channel of Shanshan and 13 rooms. The new energy acceptance capacity of Shanshan county increased from 300000 kW to 2 million KW, an increase of more than 6 times.
While strengthening the grid structure in Xinjiang, State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. has continuously done a good job in the operation and maintenance of four Xinjiang power transmission channels, so as to keep the transmission lines and equipment in the best state at all times, and make every effort to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the "main artery" of Xinjiang power transmission.
The strong power grid provides guarantee and support for the large-scale development and consumption of new energy. From January to March, 144500 kW of power was newly invested in Xinjiang power grid, including 79500 kW of wind power, 40000 kW of photovoltaic power and 25000 kW of waste heat, residual gas and residual pressure units. As of March 31, the total installed capacity of Xinjiang power grid reached 107.5 million KW, a year-on-year increase of 3.39%, including 37.206 million kw of new energy, accounting for 34.39%. The installed capacity of new energy ranks first in the country and in the northwest.
The assistance to Xinjiang through intergovernmental agreements has also effectively promoted the export of power in Xinjiang. In the first quarter, State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. made great efforts to overcome the impact of the epidemic. While ensuring domestic supply, it explored the organization ability of external power supply, actively sought the support of trading organization and channel, and promoted the full implementation of power supply to Xinjiang. According to Zhang Yi, the special person in charge of the Settlement Department of Xinjiang Electric Power Trading Center Co., Ltd., the contract scale of electric power assistance to Xinjiang this year is 10.124 billion kwh. At present, the agreed power assistance to Xinjiang has been completed by 2.206 billion kwh, accounting for 21.8% of the contract scale.
During the 14th Five Year Plan period, State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. will further strengthen the construction of cross regional transmission channels and expand the coverage of 750 kV backbone grid. At present, the ± 800 kV Hami North Chongqing UHV DC project is being stepped up. After the project is completed, it is expected to increase the external power transmission by more than 40 billion kwh every year.
