On January 7, it was learned from the special press conference of “Chinese people’s Police Day” held by the provincial public security department that since 2021, our province has vigorously implemented 12 convenience measures for public security traffic management of “I do practical things for the masses”. Up to now, the province has handled 2.66 million applications for motor vehicle electronic driver’s license, and the full coverage of electronic driver’s license has been realized.
It is reported that in 2021, the provincial traffic control department solidly promoted the reform of “release, control and service” of public security traffic control. According to the unified deployment of the Ministry of public security, 12 new convenience measures of public security traffic control were successfully implemented in our province. So far, 56000 transactions have been handled by the elderly Wuxi Online Offline Communication Information Technology Co.Ltd(300959) , 1186 certificates have been replaced by veterans, 66000 online verification of motor vehicle mortgage information and 750000 online verification of motor vehicle traffic compulsory insurance information.
Meanwhile, our province further promotes the “Internet plus public security management” service, and achieves the “online operation, self-help operation and close operation”. So far, the Internet platform has registered 25.8889 million individual users, 91200 unit users, 6.179 billion user visits and 387 million services.
In addition, in 2021, the provincial public security traffic management department will focus on “reducing and controlling large”, and pay close attention to the implementation of various measures to maintain road safety and smoothness.
Make every effort to eliminate potential safety hazards. We carried out investigation and rectification of hidden dangers of road traffic accidents, and investigated, listed and rectified 1891 hidden dangers of road traffic safety. Organize monthly motor vehicle registration inspection and driver examination, rectification supervision and inspection, and 26 institutions with problems of suspension of business for rectification.
Strictly investigate and control traffic violations that are easy to cause accidents and disasters. In 2021, 122000 cases of drunk driving and 9720 cases of overloaded passenger cars were investigated and dealt with in the province. We deepened the right-hand traffic control of trucks, and implemented the right-hand traffic control of trucks in the whole province, with 12000 km of road sections.
Strengthen road traffic management in rural areas. Adhere to the synchronous efforts of “source + road + publicity”, focus on the investigation and treatment of hidden dangers of rural traffic safety, investigate and rectify 361 hidden sections of rural roads, and build 1913 primary and secondary rural persuasion stations of “police protection cooperation”.
