On April 12, the reporter of China Securities News learned that the open Euler Developer Day 2022 will be held from April 13 to 15. This conference was initiated and held by the Euler open source community under the open atom open source foundation.
At this conference, the community’s first full scene long-cycle version of digital infrastructure (openeuler 22.03 lts version) will be released to show the joint innovation achievements of community partners. Representatives of chip manufacturers, complete machine manufacturers and software manufacturers such as Huawei, Intel, hyperfusion, Xinhua III, Kirin, Tongxin, SUSE, Kirin Xin’an and the Institute of software of the Chinese Academy of Sciences will participate in the conference to jointly build an open-source operating system for digital infrastructure supporting diversified computing China Telecom Corporation Limited(601728) , China Mobile, China United Network Communications Limited(600050) and other enterprise user representatives attended the main forum to share the application practice and joint innovation of Euler industry.
In 2019, Huawei opened up its capabilities accumulated in the server operating system for more than ten years, and the Euler operating system was open-source. In September 2021, Huawei further fully opened its operating system capabilities in various scenarios and different devices in the ICT field. Euler upgraded and expanded from server scenario to cloud computing, edge computing and embedded scenario, becoming an open source operating system for digital infrastructure. In November of the same year, Huawei and its partners donated the Euler open source operating system project to the open atom open source foundation.
Up to now, Euler open source community has attracted nearly 10000 open source contributors, more than 330 enterprises, research institutions and universities, established nearly 100 special interest groups, become a highly innovative open source community in China, and promote the healthy and rapid development of the operating system industry through community distribution, partner business distribution and other forms.
