The “R & D and application of RF sensing core chip of Internet of things” project jointly completed by Tianjin Kunpeng Information Technology Co., Ltd. and relevant units won the “special prize of Tianjin Science and technology progress” in 2021.

As one of the four key technologies of the Internet of things, it is understood that RF sensing technology is an important link for the Internet of things to realize the integration of the physical world and the information world, and has broad application prospects. The project “R & D and application of RF sensing core chip of Internet of things” solves the problem of self-control of RF sensing core chip.

“Radio frequency sensing technology, that is, short-range wireless communication technology, can realize non-contact identification of carriers and data information exchange. Focusing on tag chips, reader chips and memory IP cores, at present, we have made a breakthrough from 0 to 1, built an independent radio frequency sensing standard system, developed a full range of radio frequency sensing chips and products, and promoted the development of self owned Internet of things sensing technology.” Li Runze, general manager of Tianjin Kunpeng Information Technology Co., Ltd., said.

“Although Kunpeng enterprise was established only two years ago, in fact, we have 13 years of technology accumulation.” Li Runze told reporters. This enterprise, which broke its shell and grew up from the school’s scientific research team, has increased its personnel nearly tenfold. Along the way, they have overcome technical problems step by step by relying on the good policies of Tianjin Xinchuang industry, which has not only solved the gap in this field in China, but also achieved international advancement.

“The overall sensitivity of our chip reader and chip writer has reached the international mainstream level, and the overall sensitivity of our chip reader and chip writer has reached the international mainstream level.” Li Runze said.

At present, this technical achievement has been successfully applied in more than 20 cities in China, such as Tianjin, Wuhan, Shenzhen and Changsha. It is widely used in the fields of industrial manufacturing, warehousing and logistics and new infrastructure construction. Its customers involve Sinochem, Tianjin Port Co.Ltd(600717) and other large enterprises. In addition, Kunpeng enterprise has also established a development model of mutual promotion of “high-precision, new and special” technologies, products and enterprises in Tianjin, and created an autonomous Internet of things industrial chain, which is expected to become an important growth point of Tianjin’s information and innovation industry.
