The construction of the shelter hospital project of the World Expo footprint Pavilion in Huangpu District is constructed by Shanghai Construction Group Co.Ltd(600170) second construction group, with a total construction area of about 21900 square meters. Under the leadership of 12 Party members, the 480 builders of the second construction group fought side by side for 141 hours, without conditions, shoulder to shoulder and sleeping on the ground, and rushed to build 2318 beds to ensure that the shelter hospital was put into use in time and contribute as much as possible to “guarding the Shanghai war epidemic”.
The Expo footprint Pavilion shelter hospital project is located in Mengzi Road, Huangpu District. The footprint Pavilion building was originally the Theme Pavilion of the Expo Park, with a total construction area of about 21900 square meters. It has three floors and 2318 beds. Each floor is equipped with a complete set of medical station and health supporting facilities, and is equipped with a mobile ultraviolet sterilization system.
On March 31, after receiving the task, the second construction group immediately organized the deployment. More than 20 managers and more than 60 workers gathered at the first time to formulate the construction scheme overnight, reasonably allocate the temporary water and electricity, deploy the construction team, strive to coordinate the resources of all parties, overcome the problems such as tight time, difficult material allocation and road closure, and effectively ensure the supply of man-machine and materials and the logistics support of all personnel.
In the early morning of April 1, all points have met the construction conditions, and the construction site began to operate in an orderly manner.
2318 beds are equipped with bedside table, table lamp, frosted bucket and other daily necessities, 75 squatting pits, 47 urinals, 52 outdoor mobile toilets, 86 taps, 30 direct drinking water equipment, 35 water heaters… The second construction group quickly transferred the backbone personnel of three hospital projects under construction to form an experienced management team, which is divided into three groups to be responsible for the construction of each floor.
The venue is divided into three floors, but there are only two vertical ladders. More than 500 beds are set on the second floor and nearly 1000 beds are set on the third floor. Almost all construction materials need to be transported by workers. In order to ensure the accelerated progress of the project construction, they sleep on the ground regardless of conditions, and keep fighting with the spirit of “white plus black” and man-machine day and night.
At the same time, the project department shall carry out closed management in strict accordance with the requirements, do a good job in health monitoring such as nucleic acid detection of all staff and personnel mobilization temperature measurement, regularly kill the operation and living areas, send meals point-to-point without contact for three meals a day, and distribute epidemic prevention materials and living materials for construction personnel.
At 15:00 on April 6, the shelter Hospital of the World Expo footprint Pavilion officially began to receive patients and put them into use. More than 400 medical staff, more than 200 cleaning and maintenance personnel and more than 100 special protection personnel, totaling more than 700 people, will continue to ensure the normal operation of the isolation point and contribute to the “war epidemic in Shanghai”.
