The announcement said that the designated certification authority verified the greenhouse gas emissions of all self built data centers such as Guangzhou Jinfa data center and Langfang xunyun data center from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021 in accordance with the international standard ISO 140641, and neutralized the total greenhouse gas emissions within the above coverage time by canceling the corresponding amount of carbon emission products such as CCER (China Certified voluntary emission reduction) and i-rec (international green certificate), Thus, the corresponding carbon neutralization certificate of the data center in 2021 was obtained.
The company said that following the “historical carbon neutralization” of all self built data centers last year, the company continued to seriously implement the strategic plan for carbon neutralization and new energy of data centers this year to achieve carbon neutralization of all self built data centers in 2021.
