It is reported that the Huaihe River Channel Linhuaigang double track ship lock project is an expansion project of the first ship lock Linhuaigang ship lock on the Qianli Huaihe River, which is invested and constructed by Anhui port and shipping Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd. A new 2000 ton ship lock with an effective dimension of 240m will be built in the project × 23m × 5.2m (lock chamber length) × Lock chamber width × Threshold water depth), the designed one-way annual gate passing capacity is 21.18 million tons. Accelerating the construction of the project and upgrading the channel grade is of great significance to improve the navigation capacity of the main channel of the Huaihe River, meet the needs of large-scale ship development, improve the construction of regional comprehensive transportation system and accelerate the integration of Northwest Anhui and even Southeast Henan into the Yangtze River Delta.
