In order to effectively maintain the navigation order in the jurisdiction, crack down on the occupation of waterways by illegal aquaculture fishing gear, and prevent the occurrence of water traffic accidents in the jurisdiction, on April 8, Pingtan maritime bureau, together with public security, marine fisheries and other departments, carried out the action of obstructing navigation in the waters under the jurisdiction and removing obstacles from illegal aquaculture fishing nets.
Starting from nianggong ferry in Pingtan, the joint law enforcement and obstacle removal team checked and demolished the illegal breeding activities, floating nets and fixed fishing nets in key waters such as nianggong, zhuyukou and daluoyu. At the same time, it publicized the laws, regulations and safety protection knowledge of water traffic safety to the fishermen, and carried out in-depth publicity and education activities to prevent the collision of commercial fishing vessels, so as to improve the safety awareness of fishermen. The joint law enforcement action has sent 15 law enforcement personnel, 2 law enforcement vessels, 2 wreck working vessels, 60 nautical miles cruising, 15 illegal aquaculture fishing nets, 10 foam floating tanks, 3 fishing boats, and effectively deterred illegal illegal acts of illegal occupation of waterway farming, and ensured safe and smooth access to and from the port.
