Beidou satellite navigation system is a satellite navigation system independently built and operated by China. It is an important national space infrastructure that provides positioning, navigation and timing services for global users. The national development and Reform Commission announced yesterday that after 27 years of construction, China’s Beidou satellite navigation industry system has basically taken shape. It is reported that at present, China has 45 Beidou satellites in orbit. The space and ground infrastructure have formed a relatively complete service capacity, the industrial system has been basically formed, and the overseas market expansion has achieved positive results. According to the statistics of relevant institutions, by the end of the 13th five year plan, the scale of China Spacesat Co.Ltd(600118) navigation industry exceeded 400 billion yuan. In terms of mass applications, Beidou mass applications represented by smart phones and smart wearable devices have made a comprehensive breakthrough. In 2021, China’s smartphone shipments supporting Beidou reached 324 million, accounting for 94.5% of China’s total smartphone shipments.
