Recently, the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas and the Ministry of Finance announced the list of the fourth batch of national modern agricultural industrial parks, among which suixian modern agricultural industrial park was listed.

Since 1978, shiitake mushroom has taken root in suixian county. From retail planting and basket selling, it has gradually moved towards large-scale and factory, forming a pattern of buying the whole country and selling the world.

It has the largest strain production base, the leading edible fungus production base, the largest edible fungus export base and the largest edible fungus trading and distribution center in China.

Through the establishment of a national modern agricultural industrial park, the county will focus on the development of two Mushroom characteristic corridors and four characteristic towns of sanligang, Hongshan, Yindian and Caodian, so as to drive the development of mushroom industry in the whole county.
At present, the area of mushroom planted by the people in the county is 55000 Mu and 176 million bags. The standardized planting area in the park is 37500 Mu and 120 million bags, and the self-produced mushroom is 54000 tons.
