Hisense freezer initiated the formulation of the country's first industry group standard of "deep cooling and fresh keeping"

On March 31, the group standard of "deep cooling and fresh keeping" initiated by Hisense freezer was unanimously approved after being reviewed by China Electronic Quality Management Association, China Household Appliances Research Institute, China Household Appliances Association, Shandong University and other authoritative institutions. The group standard will establish a new and high standard technical specification for food freezing in the industry and fill the normative gap in the frozen storage of food materials in the freezer industry.

In recent years, frozen food has become an indispensable part of the daily diet and life of Chinese urban consumers. However, due to various factors, food discoloration and deterioration will still occur in the process of conventional refrigerator -18 storage.

Although the storage temperature (- 18) of frozen food for household refrigeration appliances (refrigerators, freezers, etc.) has been stipulated in corresponding foreign standards, there are still few standards for deep cooling and fresh keeping in freezers. There is a lack of evaluation specifications for the common problems of discoloration, water loss and deterioration of meat and seafood under conventional freezing temperature, and how to significantly improve them at - 40 and lower storage temperature. Therefore, it is necessary to adjust the existing standard methods or requirements, and add new methods and requirements to better reflect the preservation performance of cryogenic and frozen food.

In response to this market pain point, Hisense freezers, together with China Electronic Quality Management Association, Weikai Testing Technology Co., Ltd., Xi'an Jiaotong University, Ocean University of China, Jiangsu Xingxing Cold Chain Technology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Wanbao home appliance Holding Co., Ltd. and other authoritative institutions, universities and relevant enterprises, jointly launched the formulation of industry group standards for "deep cooling and fresh keeping" of freezers, so as to meet the urgent needs of users for consumption upgrading.

It is understood that the standard defines the deep cooling and fresh keeping of household freezers for the first time: the temperature meets the requirements of deep cooling grade, effectively reduces microorganisms, and maintains the freshness of food to the greatest extent, standardizing the concept of deep cooling and fresh keeping of household freezers.

Liu Fuzhong, senior consultant of China Household Appliances Association, said that most of the traditional standard preservation requirements are for refrigerated food materials, and few for high-end frozen food materials. This standard has made scientific provisions on the hygienic storage and nutritional quality indicators of frozen food materials for the first time in the industry. In addition, the previously seen cryogenic standards only focus on temperature performance and do not take into account the quality of food storage. They put forward professional temperature and professional food storage indicators in the same standard at the same time, and organically combined them, which is also the first time in the industry.

It can be seen that the formulation and release of the group standard of "deep cooling and fresh keeping" of freezers will promote the industry to carry out research on the factors affecting the quality and effect of food storage, improve the storage quality of users' freezers, drive the industry to develop towards healthier and fresh food storage, and meet consumers' pursuit of healthy quality of life.
