The reporter learned from the Management Committee of Guangzhou Pazhou artificial intelligence and digital economy Experimental Zone on the 30th that as an important bearing platform for Guangzhou to participate in the construction of Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Bay International Science and technology innovation center, Pazhou experimental zone is accelerating the development of algorithm industry and building a “Pazhou computing Valley” by pooling industrial resources and promoting technological innovation.
Pazhou experimental area is located in Haizhu District. In order to support the development of algorithm industry, Haizhu District government will issue “Pazhou computing Valley ten articles” in the near future to support the development of algorithm industry with high standards, and provide support in office space, R & D investment, large-scale development, key talents and so on. Including the maximum rent exemption for newly settled enterprises for three consecutive years, and the introduction of subsidies for the contribution of key talents to personal economic development.
Guo Mingfu, director of Pazhou Management Committee, introduced that in terms of gathering industrial resources, Pazhou pilot zone has gathered a number of enterprises such as Alibaba, Tencent, vipshop, Xiaomi, Iflytek Co.Ltd(002230) and introduced its big data, cloud computing, software development, artificial intelligence and other algorithm related industries.
In order to promote technological innovation, in recent years, Guangdong Provincial Laboratory of artificial intelligence and digital economy (Guangzhou) (hereinafter referred to as Pazhou laboratory) has landed in Pazhou experimental area, and has gathered a number of scientific research teams to focus on the direction of algorithm industry and cooperate with enterprises to carry out technical research and project cooperation. Chen Junlong, deputy director of Pazhou laboratory, said that at the beginning of this year, Pazhou Experimental Zone established Pazhou algorithm industry alliance, with the participation of Pazhou laboratory, Shangtang technology, Iflytek Co.Ltd(002230) and other institutions to give full play to their resource advantages in the field of algorithms and build an algorithm industry ecology of innovation agglomeration.
According to the data from Haizhu District government, Pazhou pilot zone achieved a main business income of 366.85 billion yuan in 2021. According to the plan, by 2025, Pazhou pilot zone will realize a main business income of more than 500 billion yuan and a new generation of information technology industry revenue of more than 150 billion yuan.
